Senior Business Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, define, analyze, and document requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing applications supporting corporate processes and reporting
  • Provide recommendations on functionality and applicability of technological solutions to business requirements
  • Develop and document business processes
  • Participate in all aspects of testing, implementation and support
  • Consult and work closely with the technical team to ensure that all requirements have been addressed
  • Support the Analysis, Design and Implementation phases


  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 4-7 years of information technology business analysis experience in systems development
  • Exceptional investigative and interviewing skills and meeting facilitation skills
  • Understanding of business, data, process, and object-oriented analysis and modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of requirements management, the software development lifecycle, and QA methodologies are essential
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing an asset
  • Experience with systems development methodologies within a large corporate environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills required
  • Technical writing skills
  • Ability to understand company-wide project initiatives, discern cross-functional opportunities, and comprehend overall company business directives
  • Strong Metadata capture and tracking skills

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
